Callaghan on BBC Radio 2 Playlist!
Just after Callaghan's August UK Dates we got the exciting news that UK single We Don't Have to Change the World had been added to the official BBC Radio 2 playlist! Earlier this year Best Year 2015, the first UK single from A History of Now, was also added to the playlist. This means that whenever you switch on Radio 2 there's a good chance you might hear Callaghan! Thanks to Radio 2 and all the DJs and producers who have given their support to Callaghan's new record.
Callaghan's brand new album A History of Now is out now.
This 12 track collection was produced in Nashville by Dennis Matkosky. The album includes the BBC Radio 2 playlisted single Best Year 2015 and
Creative Loafing calls them "tunes to make even the most jaded pop fan grin"

Callaghan just completed her annual coast-to-coast US house show tour, traveling 13,000 miles and playing in 36 homes across 20 states.
In July she's back in the UK to play at SummerTyne Fest on July 18, Country Collective at Canary Wharf on July 23, Secret Garden Party on July 25 and Cambridge folk Festival on July 30th.
She'll be accompanied by her Atlanta based cellist Okorie Johnson. They'll also be promoting her new UK single We Don't Have to Change the World a song about taking a break from worrying and enjoying the moment.

From early August Callaghan is back on the road in the US to perform songs from her new album.
The dates are across the midwest and southeast and include Callaghan's first headline show at Chicago's City Winery and a return to Atlanta's Eddie's Attic.

Callaghan recently appeared on BBC TV in the documentary Bob Harris: My Nashville. During the show the legendary broadcaster explains how Nashville became Music City USA and explores the city.
Callaghan also performed in the comparison show Back to Beth's: A Nashville House Show alongside Beth Nielsen Chapman, Jason Isbell, John Fulbright, Kimmie Rhodes and more.
